How yoga affects diseases

In an original research study that included 138 patients with Parkinson disease, the yoga program appeared to be a favorable coping strategy for patients with Parkinson disease to address to their physical and emotional needs. Compared to stretching and resistance training exercise, yoga showed additional benefits on psychological distress, spiritual well-being, and health-related quality of life.
